At E.Cima we have done it again. Our commitment to technology has led to a new achievement for the textile sector. On this occasion, we have created a technical fabric that allows the temperature to be cooled automatically<\/strong> and actively without having to connect to the electrical current. It is a flexible thermoelectric device that can be integrated into any textile-type material. <\/span><\/p>\n

Temperature sensors to guarantee good distribution of cold.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It can be of great help in cases such as the clothing of firefighters, athletes, industrial workers or hospital equipment. The innovative system incorporates a series of temperature sensors, power control and ventilation<\/strong> elements to guarantee good distribution of cold and efficient operation through heat dissipation. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

To carry out this project we have received help of 73,000 euros from ACCI\u00d3<\/strong> – the agency for the competitiveness of the company, dependent on the Department of Business and Knowledge of the Generalitat of Catalonia -, within the framework of the R&D Nuclei program International Business. These grants promote R&D business projects<\/strong> between Catalan companies and international partners. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In fact, E.Cima is developing the project in collaboration with the company Intelligent Textile Products<\/strong> (ITP) and the Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology<\/strong> (IPHT) research center, both German, as well as the Catalan technology center Leitat<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
